Overused Tasers in Bipolar Cases
Too many times I have read about tasers being used to subdue frantic bipolar people. They have been utilized by more cops in the last year than ever before, it seems. It might not seem like a big deal to many, but tasers have gotten more efficient over the years. I was reading about the King Cobra which harbors 900,000 volts. Imagine feeling like your muscles are melting as you fall to the ground. That’s a lot of shock for one hit.
Tasers should only be used in self defense, but have been used more and more just to put disturbances at rest. I condone them only to protect yourself against a predator, but if a person is running a little manic then they really shouldn’t be attacked with a taser.
