Anger bubbles like indigestion
I can’t keep it together today. I woke up angry. I have been angry ever since. WHY? Who knows. Nothing today is making it any better. I have a headache now. The kid is grinding his teeth on my nerves. I can’t keep myself from yelling. Everything irks me. I am so aggravated. I can’t concentrate. I am getting dizzy. I don’t even know what else to say about it other than pray for me. I still don’t have my appointment set with the psych doctor in my area. I have to call on Monday and see what’s up with that.
In other news, I received one of the books (Hunger) I ordered from Amazon. Here is a run down of books that I have bought/won thus far:
Make sure to check out the new book store that I have added to this site. It’s called Bulletproof Books. It is full of books that pertain to bipolar, borderline, and depression.

Sorry to hear you are having such a bad time of it. Much of what you say is right about the complexity of these problems, and I do hope you connect with someone you can trust.
We have some really good docs out there, but just like anything else you have find the one that’s right for you. The one that is right will not rush to judgment on any single symptom, but will work with you from many angles, and cover the waterfront. Most depression is more than depression, - and bipolar, the spectrum of “bipolar” diagnosis can almost cover a used car lot.
Your notes punctuate the frustration of many who have to deal with what I call the homogenization of psychiatry. The practice has built-in features that preclude more comprehensive considerations on basic presentations. Who wants a problem with their stuck colleagues?
I feel the same way about ADD and chronic fatigue. So much beneath the surface, but the standard of care challenges more comprehensive inquiry. With SPECT imaging we can see about 10 causes for ADD symptoms. Looks like ADD, but is ADD with something else, and gets treated as only ADD. Have seen brain injury treated only as ADD with no review of brain function many times.
How do I know? Done it myself.
Best of luck over here, excellent site.
