Doctor Update

Cybercelt asked if I had been to see the doctor yet. The answer is no. They have not called me at all. I am sure that they are still backlogged with patients that came before me. It’s terrible. I am fighting so fiercely to stay okay. Yesterday was a hard one for me. I felt that empty, lonely, ickiness creeping through my veins. It was all I could do NOT to throw a fit so I could feel something else.

I have been doing well with the self injury thing, I think. I have been able to picture in my mind what I want to do and NOT do it. That’s still bad, but not as bad as if I acted out on it. I am still eating to stifle other problems, though. That is what I do when I am really really down. It’s so hard… so hard.

Have you thought of just calling a mental health hotline and saying that you need help?. Tell them you have an overpowering urge to hurt yourself and are having thoughts of suicide. They will probably come pick you up and take you to a hospital and you could get some help.

I took my son into a psych today. I have depression, everyone in my family has depression, everyone on his father’s side of the family had depression, so I told him if he ever wanted help to let me know. He did. He was diagnosed with depression and generalized anxiety disorder. I hope they help him. He is not a happy boy and he should be.
