You are more than that
My friend Cass has known me for over a year via the Net. Today I am having some really wavering thoughts about my existence, purpose, and what it is that I am worth. I just tweeted that not making sales in my Etsy shop is starting to affect my self-esteem. She tweeted back “You are more than Etsy sales”. It got me to thinking…
This week in therapy my homework is to take my list of fears, compile the ones that are reworded/similar, and explain WHY I have these fears. There aren’t many, but the ones that are there are pretty encompassing.
What does that have to do with what I am? Well, everything that makes me is a sum of all my fears, triumphs, and short-comings (whether perceived or real). I am a total of the things that make me who I am.
I honestly don’t know. I guess I will have to really think on that in the next two weeks.
