Free resources for drug addiction help
Paid review
I was just reading through 1800NoDrugs. They offer free help to find a rehabilitation program that suits your needs. I was surprised to find that their service is international. So many are only domestic. There is also a little form to fill out so someone can call you with information instead of you calling them. That is very useful for people who are unable to dial 800 numbers from their phones. The more ways you can contact a service like this, the less likely you are to find excuses NOT to call.
There is also practical advice on the site. They talk about aftercare, intervention, and many of the different types of drugs to which one can be addicted. They also have a page about financing. Money is one of the biggest excuses not to get treated. The funny thing is, all the money they are saving from not getting high could be used to get better, but many do not see it that way. It’s really an investment into your life and future. If you take the time to fill out the form they have on site, you can be contacted with the options that are available to you so that you or your loved one can become drug free.
I support these free referral sites because they work. It’s good to have options.
