Group Therapy for Borderlines Improves Condition
Apparently the National Institute of Mental Health has been experimenting with a 20 week group therapy program called STEPPS . Apparently, after the group treatment in conjunction with their other regular treatments, borderlines have a marked amount of improvement in their every day lives. The group therapies also seem to have a long term effect as the techniques that are learned in the 20 weeks are applied to the every day life of the borderline. Some people are skeptical that it actually works. I am just a little wigged out about doing group therapy. There are some things I just don’t want to air, you know what I mean?
